New Expansion to the AlphaStep EH Series Electric Gripper Lineup

55% Lighter Than the EH4 Gripper

Oriental Motor is pleased to announce the official release of an additional product to our electric gripper product lineup, the EH3-AZAKH.

The new EH3-AZAKH (short for EH3) is an AlphaStep AZ Series equipped electric gripper. It is smaller and lighter, measuring at just 80.5mm x 36mm x 42.5mm and weighing 200g, approximately 55% lighter than the EH4 gripper. The gripping force can be adjusted from 2N (reference value), providing a gentle, human-like grip.

The EH Series utilizes a reliable and robust rack & pinion design which allows for a simple pick and place or measuring device to be integrated onto the end of an arm or a system.

The key features of the new AlphaStep AZ Series-equipped EH3 electric gripper:

• Compact and lightweight design
• Minimum grip force of 2N (reference value)
• Long stroke
• Robotic mounting flange - This flange can be installed on commercially available industrial robots and reduces man-hours for jig design and production. Installation flanges on the robot side conform to ISO9409-1 (JIS B 8436).
