Oriental Motor is pleased to announce our new 400 watt (1/2 HP) BLE2 Series Brushless DC Motor and Driver.

The BLE2 Series’ wide product breadth and wide speed range enables it to easily compete with any larger 3-phase inverter driven motors and in many more application. Motor operation is easily controlled through the BLE2 driver, which can be digitally set via external DC voltage or by the front panel. Added value benefits include space saving features, increase maintenance-free performance, wide and stable speed control thanks to the brushless motor design advantage. The new motor connector offers IP66 degree of protection and allows for easy and direct connection between motor and driver with two available orientation of cable outlet direction.

The BLE2 Series is designed to work with our latest brushless motor, the same motor utilized in our popular BMU Series. Motor, drivers and cables are sold separately. This common motor design allows for maximum design flexibility. Available in round shaft, parallel shaft and with high-strength, high gear ratio gearheads.

The BLE2 Series has a maximum speed of 4000 r/min. Speed ratio of 1:50 (80 to 4000 r/min) is achieved. Round Shaft and Combination-type Parallel Shaft or Right-Angle Hollow Shaft Geared models are available in IP66 rated versions. Featuring 30 W (1/25 HP), 60 W (1/12 HP), 120 W (1/6 HP), 200 W (1/4 HP) and 400 W (1/2 HP) output power models.
