*Analog Speed Setting Range 30 ~ 4000 r/min.
Max. speed of 4000 r/min
Speed ratio of 2000:1 (Double the ratio of conventional products)
The BXII Series achieves 2 ~ 4000 r/min (with digital setting)*. The speed range has been greatly expanded.
*30 ~ 4000 r/min with analog setting.
Speed regulation: ±0.05% (load/voltage/temperature)
Up to 16 speeds can be set. (Twice as many as conventional products.)
Positioning operations are possible with the driver on its own. A control module is not required.
The command position and multiple rotation data can be returned to 0 when the command operation exceeds the round setting range parameter. Since the multiple rotation data is returned to 0, continuous rotation in the same direction is possible.
3 types of operation function; independent operation, linked operation and linked operation 2.
The setting range of the motor's starting torque (max. instantaneous torque) can be limited to 0~250% in 1% increments.
In addition to suppressing motor torque for safety purposes, this can be utilized for a variety of applications based on the usage conditions.
Improved Torque Limiting Accuracy
BXII ±Approx. 10 % (with respect to rated torque)
Torque limiting can be switched ON/OFF with an external signal
(TL input).
Digital setting and operation can be done with the driver's control panel. Speed, load factor, current position, operation number, etc. can be displayed. Remote settings are also possible when a control module (OPX-2A) (sold separately) is used. For use with a computer, the MEXE02 software is available to download for free.
The new I/O connector does not require a screw, which also eliminates the need for soldering or a special crimping tool.
The motor connector and encoder connector can be connected easily.
The data setting software (MEXE02) is compatible with Windows 7, vista, XP and 2000. Besides data editing, I/O and operating speed waveform monitoring are possible. USB Cable (CC05IF-USB) sold separately.
Optimized arrangement of internal parts has made the drivers compact and slim. Multiple drivers can now be installed in contact with each other, reducing the amount of installation space or increasing the number of axes within the same equipment space.
Quick response to a problem is possible thanks to the alarm (protective function) and warning that is output prior to an alarm.
It is possible to switch between sink/source logic according to the external controller by changing the wiring.
The high-strength gearhead is designed to withstand high-speed revolutions. The rated life of the gearhead is 10000 hours, which is twice as long as that of our previous gearhead.
Up to 610 lb-in of Torque Possible
[400 W (1/2 HP) Brushless DC Motor with Parallel Shaft Flat Gearhead]
The hollow shaft flat gearhead enables permissible torque without saturation even at high gear ratios. The motor torque can be fully utilized.
By eliminating parts such as a coupling or belt-and-pulley, the parts cost and labor will also decrease.
The output shaft can be coupled directly to your drive shaft without using a coupling. The flexible installation modes, such as installation on either the front or rear face or by using the center shaft, allows you to reduce the size and installation space of your equipment. Since no shaft-coupling parts are needed, the parts cost and assembly man-hours will also decrease.
The motor with an electromagnetic brake enables stable speed control even during vertical drive (gravitational operation). When the power is turned off, the motor stops instantaneously to hold the load in place. The electromagnetic brake is automatically controlled via the driver in accordance with ON/OFF of the operation command signal.
The internal driver parameter settings and data settings can be established and changed. They can also be used for speed and I/O monitoring, teaching, and so on.
This communication cable is required for connecting to the computer on which the data setting software is installed.
These cables extend the distance between the motor and driver. The motor includes a 16 in. (400 mm) cable plus 9.4 in (240mm) conversion cables. Use a flexible motor cable if the motor is installed on a moving part or its cable will be flexed.
Power Supply cable for the BXII Series.
DIN Rail installation plate for the driver.
Small, thin, and lightweight stand-alone rotary encoders with an outer diameter of ϕ30 mm can be installed in tight spaces.
These products are clamp type couplings used to connect a motor or gearhead shaft to the shaft of the equipment.
This is an aluminum die cast mounting bracket for geared motors.
Long, horizontal holes make it easy to make fine adjustments during installation.
Permissible load has been increased by mounting with a parallel shaft gearhead. Direct mounting of the rotation mechanism to wheels or rotary tables has been simplified, which helps reduce design time.
*For use with 120W Parallel Shaft Gear Motors (Metric Shaft)
Sets and adjusts the motor's speed. Package includes one potentiometer.
(20 kΩ, 1/4 W and with a linear resistance vs. angle curve)
DIN rail mounting bracket for the external speed potentiometer.
During vertical drive (gravitational operation) and when starting and stopping large inertia loads rapidly, external forces cause the motor to rotate and function as a power generator. When that occurs, if the regenerative power exceeds the capacity of the driver to absorb, failure may result. In such cases, the regeneration unit is connected to the drive and the regenerative power is released as heat energy.
