NEW AZ Series Connector Type Motors

Now Available with IP66 Locking Connector Cable

Torrance, CA – June 13, 2023

The αSTEP AZ Series motors are now available with IP66 locking connector cable, specifically AC and DC motors with input frame sizes 42 mm (1.65 in.) and 60 mm (2.36 in.).

One IP66 rated locking connector cable enables a simple direct connection between the motor and the driver. Available in three cable orientations:

• Output shaft side
• Vertical
• Counter-output shaft side

Additional expansion on various geared types will be announced later this year. These Connector Type motors can be used with any AZ Series single-axis driver.

The key features of the new AZ Series Connector Type:

• Direct connection motor to the driver
• A lock lever connector is used to ensure the connection
• Three cable outlet directions can be selected

Note: AZ mini drivers and multi-axis drivers are not eligible for combination.
