The AZ Series mini Driver works with a variety of αSTEP AZ Series, DC input products. This driver can be controlled using EtherCAT, PROFINET, EtherNet/IP, RS-485 communication, or Pulse Input Type with RS-485 Communication and daisy chained to maximize design and space and improve installation time. The mini Driver is also designed to be close to the motor, making it ideal for Robotic type applications.
The elimination of switches and I/O connectors allows for a compact and lightweight design. Utilizes the MEXE02 Support Software, available for free download.

Compact design allows for installation in small spaces.
No DIN rail required. Can be installed directly to equipment with 2 screws.
Reduce overall equipment mass and reduce power consumption for drive wheels.
Accepts a wide power supply voltage range for battery power operation. Supports 24 VDC and 48 VDC.
The servo emulation optimizes the current provided to the motor to match the load conditions.
With an AZ Series, no external sensors and related wiring is required.
Direct control over the network is possible. This contributes to centralized equipment management and simplified wiring.
*The AZD-KRED passes the official EtherCAT conformance test.
*The AZD-KR2D is also compatible with CC-Link and MECHATROLINK control when
used with a network converter (gateway).
Connection cables can be selected to suit the installation environment, with lengths of 0.5 m (1.6 ft) up to 10 m (32.8 ft) available.
The αSTEP stepper motors are used in multiple product types to meet your specific application needs; stepper motors available with a wide range of gearing options and brake types, as well as a full line linear actuators and rotary actuators.
The MRC01 robot controller supports easy programming and control of in-house designed custom built robots with 3 simple steps: "Initial Setup", "Operating Programming" and "Operational Checking".
These cables are used to connect the motor and driver. Use the flexible connection cable in applications where the cable is bent and flexed repeatedly.
Extension cables are also available as an additional option to provide an extension between the connection cable and driver.
These cables are used to connect the connector type motor and mini driver.
Required (sold separately).
Use a flexible motor cable if the motor is installed on a moving part or its cable will be flexed.
These cables are used to connect the driver to a network converter or a robot controller MRC01.
This cable cannot be used to connect the drivers together.
This cable cannot be combined with the network converter NETC02-CC
