*Torque and Speed vary based on input voltage and frequency, please review product specifications for details.
Thanks to the closed loop control, feedback on the motor status is provided to the controller in real-time. An alarm signal is output when an abnormality, such as motor lock due to overload, occurs and the supply of power to the motor is stopped.
With a built-in tachogenerator on the back of Oriental Motor's Speed Control motors, the output speed of the AC motor is supplied to the Controller ensuring accurate speed control along with alarm warnings if any abnormalities occur.
By making the control circuit CPU-controlled, the speed regulation (load) has improved. It is possible to make the deviation for the speed command and speed detection values almost 0, and the speed regulation has been improved from -5% to ±1%*. *Permissible torque when at 1000 r/min.
A single external speed potentiometer can operate a maximum of 20 units in parallel. Fine adjustment of each motor's speed can be performed by changing the controller's parameters.
4 units of operating data can be set, and can be switched with I/O during operation.
Makes the motor movement at start/stop smoother. It is possible to set acceleration/deceleration differently for each of the 4-speed data units.
Performs the operation according to the command for rotation direction.
Instantaneously switches the rotation direction of the motor while operating. (Short cycle change conditions can be created)
It is possible to limit the speed setting in advance with speed range.
Stops the operating motor instantaneously. (Short cycle run/stop conditions can be created)
The controller volume is 63% smaller than a general inverter.
The body width is 1.38 in. (35 mm) and even when using multiple speed controllers, the installation is compact because they can be installed side by side.
The speed controller depth is 3.54 in. (90 mm). It can be installed in slim body control cabinets.
The speed controller can be installed directly on the DIN rail.
Wiring the speed controller and motor together uses a connector, so installation and removal are easy.
No need for soldering or crimping tools, and no torque management for screws is necessary. This reduces wiring time and maintenance.
Utilizes a gearhead that excels in both permissible torque and strength. Special side panels in the gearhead have increase rigidity, and heat processing (carburization) has increase the strength of the gears.
Uses high-strength hypoid gears. Compared to conventional products, torque has been greatly increased and noise has been reduced. Furthermore, the radial load and axial load on the gearhead output shaft have been increased, contributing to decreased equipment size and increased reliability.
Conveyor drive rollers can be installed on both ends of the load shaft of a hollow shaft type. The equipment can be made even smaller compared to when the motor is installed on the side of the conveyor.
Reduces customer assembly time, and can be installed on equipment immediately.
The motor position can be rotated in 90° increments, and the lead wire pull-out direction can be changed. The gearhead can be purchased and replaced for maintenance or to change the gear ratio.
Speed control in vertical operation is possible through deceleration control.
These products have built-in power-off activated electromagnetic brakes. When power is accidentally cut off due to a blackout or other unexpected events, the electromagnetic brake holds the load in position to prevent it from dropping or moving. Also, when the motor is at standstill, it can be held by the electromagnetic brake. It is possible to suppress the heat generated from the motor by turning off the motor current.
This function applies brake current automatically to regulate the speed when the motor rotates faster than the set speed. Ideal for vertical, gravitational or horizontal operations. Can also be used for position holding.
These cables extend the distance between the motor and controller. Use flexible connection cable in applications where the cable is bent or flexed.
Sets and adjusts the motor's speed.

DIN rail mounting bracket for the external speed potentiometer.
This capacitor mounting plate allows you to attach an AC motor or Fan motor’s capacitor on a DIN rail. You can attach or detach in on a DIN rail with a one screw. There is no need for a separate end plate or additional components.
These products are clamp type couplings used to connect a motor or gearhead shaft to the shaft of the equipment.
This is an aluminum die cast mounting bracket for geared motors.
Long, horizontal holes make it easy to make fine adjustments during installation.
A torque arm acts as an anti-spin mechanism when a right-angle shaft, hollow hypoid JH gear is installed to prevent gearheads from rotating due to reactive force from shafts being driven.
