Washdown Applications / Watertight Motors
Oriental Motor offers washdown gear motors that are watertight, dust-resistant geared motors which conform to the IEC standard IP67. They can be used where they are splashed with water.
*Not available for use under high pressure jets of water or immersion in water.
We have 2 types of motors available.
<Watertight Test Conditons>
1 m (3.28 ft.) below the surface of the water for 30 minutes.

Degree of Protection IP67
Can be used in dusty and wet environments. Can be washed with water. Designed to be mounted on equipment as-is with no protective cover.
Can be washed with water while mounted on equipment.
OK even for dusty applications.
