PKP Series 2-Phase Bipolar Stepper Motors

High-torque, 2-phase bipolar stepper motors and geared type stepper motors offer the optimum performance and value. In addition to offering high torque, the PKP series stepper motors offer more variety of electrical specifications, more frame sizes, encoder options and electromagnetic brake options for the right solution in stepper motors.

Motor Winding

With stepper motors, the number of windings and wire diameter specifications can be changed to match the torque-speed characteristics to the required specifications.

We can process motor lead wires and cables to suit the design and manufacturing circumstances of your equipment.

We can assemble Oriental Motor encoders or third party encoders to our stepper motors.

Encoder Resolution

Our standard type encoder resolution is available in 200, 400, and 1,000. With this semi-custom order, we have the resolutions ranging from 100 to 4,000 P/R.

AZ Series Stepper Motors with Mechanical Absolute Encoder

The αSTEP AZ Series stepper motors offer high efficiency, low vibration, and incorporate our newly developed Mechanical Absolute Encoder for absolute-type positioning without battery back-up or external sensors to buy. Closed loop performance without hunting or gain tuning. Available with a built-in controller or pulse input driver, which substantially reduces heat generation from the motor through the use of high-efficiency technology. Requires αSTEP AZ Series Stepper Motor Driver.
