Equipment where a gripper is equipped with an pneumatic actuator grips a load and transports it to the next process.
Application: Using a brushless motor to grip a load with increasing gripping force

The torque limiting function of the Brushless Motor BLE2 Series adequately controls gripping force according to the operation conditions and type of load.
The torque limiting function allows for setting the motor so that it does not generate more than the desired value of torque. The limiting value can be changed mid-operation, so the grip can clamp the load lightly, then slowly increase gripping force, and grip it firmly.

① Load is clamped lightly with a low torque limiting value (to the extent of touch)
② The limiting value is switched, gripping force increases steadily, and the load is gripped firmly
The BLE2 Series offers 16 torque limiting value settings. By switching the setting value according to the type of load, the BLE2 Series can handle loads of various shapes.
