Operating Environment

Information on the operating environment for using MVC Studio.

Operating System	For the following operating systems, the 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions are supported. • Microsoft Windows 10 Ver. 1607 or later • Microsoft Windows 11
CPU	IntelR Core i3 and Processor 2 GHz or higher (OS must be supported)
Graphic	DirectX 10 or later, VRAM min. 128 MB
Display Resolution	HD (1280 × 720) or higher
Memory*1	2 GB or more
Hard Disk*2	At least 1 GB of free disk space
USB Port	USB2.0 1 port

*¹ The operating condition for the OS must be met.
*² Microsoft .NET Framework 4.8 is required for MVC Studio. If it is not installed, it will be installed automatically, and in some cases, additional free space may be required.

• The required memory and hard disk space may vary depending on the system environment you are using.

Communication Cable

Please prepare a USB cable (commercially available) with the following specifications.

Standards	USB2.0 (Full speed)
Cable	Length :  3 m or less Shape :  Type-C

ROS 2 Node

ROS2 nodes, manuals, and code samples are available for download. You can access resources for the following functions.

• Creating and Submitting Queries
• Receiving Responses
• Data Distribution

*Please prepare the conversion cable necessary for connection to the ROS body and the PC by yourself.
*This document is intended for users with expertise in ROS and Linux. Inquiries about installation and usage of ROS and Linux are outside the scope of support.
*Some of the target Oriental Motor products include series-equipped electric actuators.
