Oriental Motor Expands MD Series with New 24 VDC Axial Flow Fans

Expanded lineup adds new standard, alarm, watertight and variable-speed models in frame sizes from 60/62 mm to 120 mm.

October 22, 2026 – Oriental Motor U.S.A. Corp. is pleased to announce the expansion of its MD Series compact DC axial flow fan lineup with new 24 VDC models.

The expanded lineup includes fans in 60/62 mm, 80 mm, 92 mm and 120 mm frame sizes, giving equipment designers additional options for cooling and ventilation in a wide range of applications.

The MD Series is available in five configurations: basic, alarm, long-life, variable-speed and splash proof types. The new models expand the S, A, P and V Type offerings.

MD Series Fan Options

The MD Series provides five fan types to address different equipment requirements: 

• S Type — Basic: Provides reliable cooling for general equipment applications.
• A Type — Alarm: Detects fan rotation abnormalities or stoppages and provides an alarm output.
• E Type — Long-Life: Designed for applications requiring extended fan service life.
• V Type — Variable Speed: Allows airflow to be adjusted according to the equipment’s cooling requirements.
• P Type — IP68 Splash Proof and Dust-Resistant: Designed for applications requiring additional protection from water exposure.

With the addition of these models, customers have more choices for selecting a 24 VDC fan based on frame size, cooling requirements and desired monitoring or control functions.
