For this case study, our application engineering group combined 2 OVR Series SCARA robots and MRCU robot controllers with EZS & KR Linear Slides and EH Series Electric Grippers for end effectors to demonstrate picking and placing coordination in a tight workspace assembling a stepper motor.

Custom Z-Axis

The OVR3 offers flexible Z-axis options, allowing users to select the stroke and configuration that best match their application requirements, from compact assembly tasks to larger pick-and-place operations.

Low Profile Telescopic Guide

Designed with a low-profile architecture, the OVR3, Tsubaki Zip Chain Actuator (ZCA), and THK Telescopic Linear Guide help maximize usable workspace in compact equipment. Their space-saving designs deliver long reach and travel capabilities while minimizing installation height, making them ideal for automation systems with limited available space.

KR33 Linear Slide

Utilizing the KR33 Linear Slide with AZ Series Motors allows for vertical linear movemnt to position the SCARA Robot in the respective work areas without taking up valuable space.
